From 24 March to 4 April five young silversmiths who had finished their study at the Vakschool Schoonhoven, took part in a two-week masterclass given by Jan van Nouhuys.
They came along with their own designs, which had been talked over before the masterclass started.
Making use of the equipment of Van Nouhuys' workshop, they worked extremely hard to realize their designs.
The results of their work along with earlier work they have made will be on show and for sale during the Whitsun weekend, 7, 8 and 9 June in the Turfkelder underneath the Schoonhoven Town Hall.
The 9 June the National Silverday takes place for the 30th time.
