Studio 925 had a remarkable PAN this year. First of all, the celebration of Jan van Nouhuys' jubilee of 35 years of silversmithing had obviously struck a cord with the PAN organisation, as they put on the floorplan leaflet cover one of Van Nouhuys' objects, namely the "Platte knoop" (Square knot). As they put it, as a tribute to his achievements during those years and with the hope to be able to enjoy his sparkling creations for years to come!
Then there was the unexpected sale of a number of his top objects, one of which is the "Zonnige wereld" (Sunny World).
The leporello booklet about Jan van Nouhuys' development in his 35 years of silversmithing received a very good response by the visitors of the stand. Quite a number of them sent e-mails afterwards to say how much they appreciated both the text, written by Van Nouhuys, and the photographs giving an impression of works made during those years.
The number of visitors of the PAN was an absolute record : more than 51.000.
PAN 2011 amazing success
