With a deep sigh and with joy and enthousiasm Marcel Teheux, director of the Zilvermuseum Schoonhoven, expressed what all present at the opening of the exhibition felt: finally we are here to attend the opening, which originally was planned for 18th February.
Sixty people were present at this festive occasion, most of them gave an object or more in loan for the exhibition with work by Van Nouhuys.
Alexander Pechtold, known to many as the leader of the D66 liberal party, a position he heldĀ for many years, and great lover of silver, spoke the opening word.
