Silverweekend

What until now has been a one-day event, the Nationale Zilverdag, always on Whitmonday, will be extended to the Whitsun weekend.

Studio 925 will be open on Saturday from 11.00 - 17.00 hrs and on Sunday from 13.00 - 17.00 hrs. On National Silverday on Monday 28th we will be open from 11.00 - 17.00 hrs, together with all the open air stands in the town centre.

We especially would like to draw your attention to what is happening in the Turfkelder, an exhibitionspace underneath the Town Hall right in the centre of Schoonhoven. Here, eight silversmiths from the UK, Germany and Belgium will show their most recent work in silver as well as jewellery. Some of the work of the rising young silversmiths is quite spectacular. They will be eager to tell you about their work.

So, if you want to visit quietly and really be able to see the work, we advise you to come on either the Saturday or the Sunday.
