16 February 2008 many of the 30 gold- and silversmiths taking part in the exhibition 'Tafelhoeden ? Schaalobjecten in vele hoed-danigheden' came to Gallery Studio 925 to bring the object they had made.
The exhibition will take place from 19 april - 31 May 2008 at Gallery Studio 925, and later at the pAn Amsterdam, November 2008.
The diversity and originality of the work clearly shows that many felt inspired by the playing with words and concepts in the invitation they had received last September to design and make a bowl (dish). A hat turned upside-down is a bowl. The magician makes use of the convertibility of his top hat, or is it his deep bowl ?
A catalogue will be published with photographs of all the objects and relevant information about the makers.
