The exhibition 'Ground Hope' in the Zilvermuseum Schoonhoven has been extended until 9 January 2022.
The museum in this picturesque small old Dutch town is open from 11.00 - 17.00 hours Tuesday - Sunday.
After months of having been closed, the museum decided to extend the exhibition in order for people to have the chance to view this unique collection.
It was possible to bring it together thanks to many people who were willing to part with their cherished objects for a long time.
The eight showcases each have a theme, and then there are the two showcases with work of some silversmiths who took part in the masterclasses Jan has given in recent years.
There are a few pieces exhibited out in the open, as STUDIO 925 was used to do at art fairs.
Two films give an insight into the masterclass and two others show how Jan van Nouhuys made some of his objects.
The 'street with skyscrapers' - large pictures of architectural objects made over the years by Van Nouhuys - leading up to 'Ground Hope'.
